Adding a Service Fee
When creating or editing your event, you have the option to add a non-refundable Service Fee to vendor applications. This allows you to collect an additional charge separate from the booth cost.
Where to Add the Service Fee
Follow these steps:
- Select your event.
- Click Edit Event.
- Open the Booth Application section.
- Go to Vendor Payments.
- Locate the Service Fee option.
- Check the Service Fee box.
- Choose your Fee Type.
- Enter the corresponding amount(s).

Service Fee Types
You can configure the Service Fee using one of the following options:
Fixed Amount
- A flat dollar amount added per approved vendor.
- Example: $10 per application.

Percentage
- A percentage calculated based on the vendor’s total payment.
- Example: 5% of the total cost of the application

Both Fixed & Percentage
- A combination of a flat amount plus a percentage of the total payment.
- Example: $5 + 3% of the total cost of the application
- Both amounts are applied once the vendor is approved.

Application Fee vs. Service Fee
These two fees function differently within the application process.
Application Fee
- Charged automatically when the vendor submits their application.
- Collected during the first payment.
Service Fee
- Charged only after the vendor is approved.
- Applies to all payment methods including credit card, check, cash, and other accepted types.
- Can be set as Fixed Amount, Percentage, or Both Fixed & Percentage.
- Non-refundable by default.
What Vendors See
Once your event is published, vendors (Booth Hosts) will see the Service Fee displayed when completing their application.

This ensures transparency before submission.
How Service Fees work when you deny an Application
If you deny an application:
- The vendor will not be charged.
