### Why Is Messaging a BoothCentral Plus Feature?

Every email sent through Messages has a delivery cost. As the number of vendors and messages increases, so does the cost of sending and reliably delivering those emails.
Including Messages with **BoothCentral Plus** helps support the infrastructure needed to send event communications directly through the platform while maintaining reliable email delivery.
BoothCentral Plus also gives us room to continue developing and supporting additional tools designed to make managing events and communicating with vendors easier.

---

### Using Messages Responsibly

Messages is intended for communications that are relevant to your event and the vendors receiving them.

Appropriate uses include event announcements, logistics, schedule changes, weather notices, setup instructions, parking information, event policies, and other event related updates.

Messages should **not** be used for:

* General marketing campaigns
* Unrelated advertisements
* Promotional newsletters
* Products or services unrelated to the event
* Other communications that are not relevant to the vendors receiving them

Keeping messages relevant helps vendors receive the information they need without unnecessary or unrelated emails.
