Unblock Camera/Mic Access on a Desktop or Laptop Computer
When you click on your camera or mic button in the video chat window, do you see the unblock message below? If so, this means that your camera/mic is blocked by (1) your browser or (2) operating system.

Chrome
To unblock your camera/mic:
Click the camera icon in your browser's address bar located on the top right (refer to the image below for reference)

Make sure that Always allow Boothcentral.com is selected
Click Done
Refresh the page. If rejoining doesn't work, fully quit the browser and rejoin.
Also try the following:
Click the triple dot Settings icon, upper right of your Chrome window
Click Site Settings > Camera (and then Mic)
Under both Camera and Mic, make sure that boothcentral.com is not on the BLOCK list
Save changes and rejoin the call
Firefox
In a chat, look at the address bar. Click the camera/mic icon there
Click the x to turn off blocking
Exit and rejoin the call. Click Allow when asked
macOS (all browsers) — check Systems Preferences
Follow the steps outlined in this help article.
Other Tips
Do you have ad blockers or browser extensions installed? Try disabling them or use Incognito mode. An extension might be blocking access to your camera.
Do you have a program that automatically opens at startup, which uses your camera? If so, disable the program from automatically opening at startup. Then reboot.
REBOOT. If you haven't rebooted your computer recently, please do so. Your system needs to clear out any old issues.
Run the official Google test: Go to https://fiber.google.com/speedtest/, Click the GO button
We recommend using Chrome. Internet Explorer is not supported.
