Preparing to Participate in a Virtual Event

We are glad you are participating in a virtual event! To ensure you have the best possible experience, please review the following requirements and make sure your browser has access to your camera and mic.

BoothCentral's virtual events run entirely on a browser with a camera and mic. No other software is needed. However, the following browsers are recommended depending on what device you are using:

Check your browser

Desktop or laptop computers (Windows, MacOS, Linux)

BEST - Chrome
OKAY - Firefox and Safari

To screen share, the user must be using a computer (not a mobile device). If you are screen sharing a video with audio, you must use Chrome.

Apple iPhone / iPad / iOS

Safari is required
iOS 12.01 or newer is required
Other browsers are NOT recommended as Apple does not allow your camera to work in other browsers

Android

BEST - Chrome
OKAY - Firefox and Safari

NOT SUPPORTED

Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer are NOT supported.

USE THE LATEST BROWSER AND OS IF POSSIBLE

For the best possible experience and the least problems, make sure your browser and operating system is the latest version. For browsers, it must be at least:

Chrome 74
Safari 12.1
Firefox 66

For iPhone and iPad, your device must have iOS 12.01 or newer

Check your camera/mic

ENSURE YOUR CAMERA AND MIC ARE WORKING

IF POSSIBLE, WEAR HEADPHONES

To minimize audio feedback and background noises, wear headphones for the best experience.
