How to Cancel an Event

We're sorry that you may need to cancel your event. If there is anything we can do to help make your event happen, please let us know!

In order to cancel an event, you'll first need to cancel or deny all the applications to your event. Instructions on how to cancel an application. This is an important step because you'll need to make decisions on refunds.

Send an email to support@boothcentral.com asking them to deactivate the event. They will deactivate your event within 24 hours.

Why can't I delete the event? If you've received applications to your event, you lose the ability to fully delete it. This is so the event information isn't lost. For example, you may need access in the future to retrieve the contact information, or you may need to access the amount of a participant's refund.

How to Delete an Event

If you haven't received any applications to your event, you are able to delete your event by following these steps.

Open your event and go to the Edit Event section. In the upper right corner, click the dropdown menu next to Published Event, and select Unpublish Event.

Click on My Events. From the event's dashboard, click the three dots on the right and select Delete from the dropdown menu.
